A rubbish picture but you can see it settling on the cars.

DP finally starting to lower. Down to 0.7 from 1c in 20 mins. Snowing heavily now, small flakes and starting to settle on the cars.

DP still up at 1c. I really want the temperature and dp to fall more. We might have a chance of the snow sticking then.

So it snowing here but nothing at all settling. Temp and DP just too high for that. It's to warm and wet for it settle. Lovely to see snow falling though.

I'm keeping everything crossed. My toddler would love to see the snow. She doesn't remember last year's event.

We need it to hold off until it's cooler. Dew point is still above 0c we need the colder air to come in.

Meto seem to have it hitting here later than previously thought. Snow here most of the night from about 9pm.

I am with you on this. The air definitely changes smell when snow or rain is on the air.

Dp is falling approx .6c an hour at the moment. Air temp is still up at 4.6.

I have a hospital appt at Poole that I have been waiting months for. I hope I manage to get to it. But I also really want the snow.

4.8 c here but dp has fallen to 0c so hoping the downwards trend continues. Wind has picked up significantly.

Maybe overnight tonight. I'm just too close to the coast. Have a feeling if we went over ferndown or parley or verwood it would be a very different story.

Warming up a lot quicker than I thought it would this morning. Already up to -0.6.

I hope so Matty. I am in central Bournemouth so only 6m asl and it's tricky to get any decent snow here. Thus set up is a strange one so who knows.

Morning weather fiends. -2.2 here with a dp of -2.9. I still have a feeling about a sleet/rain event imby just too close to the coast.
