Heavy thick flakes just started at my mum's in Hengigstbury. It' not settling but looks beautiful. Not sure what it' doing in central Bournemouth but keeping a close eye on getting home. -
Nope still laid up. And as much as I love snow I need some warmth now for my health. ? I won't be getting much sleep if we have snow again.

Morning all. Haven't been on for a while as my eardrum decided to burst last week and then the infection spread to my jaw. Lovely!!!! Trying to catch up on here and the MAD thread now.

Just been out to investigate. My car is no longer frozen, there is still quite a lot of ice laying on the snow but the snow underneath is melting and the freezing rain ice is just falling to the ground still frozen.

It's shot up to a positively balmy 2.7 degrees here with a few point of 2.4. Nope. I did miss the minus symbol off.

I don't know if I can cope with another event. I'm exhausted from the lack of sleep.

We have no rain freezing or otherwise in central Bournemouth. Please please stay this way.

I really don't want anymore freezing rain. It's too scary. If we aren't going to get anymore snow I want a rapid thaw now. Sorry to sound gloomy but the freezing rain really is lethal.

Very very light snow here. And I mean light.

Car is literally frozen shut. And the snow is frozen to the car.

Just ventured outside. We have about 2cm of pure ice on top of the snow. My car is frozen solid and won't be defrosted anytime soon. It is lethal out there.

I don' think it's going to happen for here. Temp has got too high. Think it will fall as rain or sleet if we see anymore.

Just woken up but haven't ventured outside. Had a look out of the window and everything is just shiney ice. The top of my car looks like a sheet of ice. Snow is still on the ground but looks like an ice rink. Luckily my road has been gritted but I don't think I will get my car off the drive.

Just had a look at the power lines and they are glistening shiny. I can only assume this is a coating of ice as well. I pray this turns back to snow or normal rain soon. If the freezing rain continues it won't be good in the morning.

We have the freezing rain here. The windows are frozen up. And the road where it's slush has just turned to ice.

Very teeny ice pellets here but mainly nothing at all. Very weird after having snow all day.

Just been out to to put the rubbish out. We have about 6-7cm in non drift areas.
