  1. Just measured up and on the wall there's 8.5inch!! 1.5 was left from the other day so 7inch fell last nite, not too shabby at all!!
  2. Couple from the front and back gardens. Not measured it yet tho! Think I live in Australia!! Lol
  3. Same here, it's just relentless at the moment. Just had the ruler out again and got 1.5cm now. It's wild with the wind.
  4. And your constant moaning makes me laugh!! This EVENT is only just starting, hours of snow to go yet matey, cheer up hey??
  5. (RAMP ALERT) I'd class it as heavy now, really blowing down on he wind!! This could be EPIC!!
  6. The car is covered which I was only driving an hour ago!! Moderate snow, not heavy yet.
  7. Met office update for a few places in our region has heavy snow until 6pm now!! UPGRADE!!!
  8. Nice bit of light stuff here, this is the backing coat for the main event later!! Feel like a 8 year old again lol!
  9. Really??? Stop moaning lol!! The front is not due until after 7 tonight so loads of time. It's a slow moving front hence why it's been over the south all day!! We will be rewarded later mate, keep the faith!
  10. Everywhere I've looked he temp for here will barely get above freezing so probably hold on to most of what we have/get!
  11. It's like an imaginary snow line isn't it lol!! I really think we are in for a good dumping tonight I'd say minimum 10cm above the marsh snow line. There just looks to be so much precipitation feeding up from France, then add in the e/ ene winds and convection and that's a constant fall of moderate to heavy snowfall!! It will also aid us that once the front reaches us properly it will be dark so temps should lower a little.
  12. Nice one Aaron, this is looking good. Hopefully there will be some big disruptive snowfalls!!
  13. Look what you said last night, then BOOM the snow came!! U are definitely a glass quarter full person lol!!
  14. Constant snow since 4ish here all different intensitys but a nice accumulation building up!! On the level it's around 4 inch and drifts its 6/7 inch!! To say how far west I am we've done quite well.
  15. V light snow in Huddersfield now, lets hope it's the start of something good!!!
  16. That's it, I'm not getting disheartened and I'm not getting excited! Will just wait until tomorrow and see what starts falling from the sky.
  17. What data does the NAE use then to produce these precip charts?? Is it gfs? Thanks.
