  1. Are you getting a bit at the moment @winterof79 I’m just up meltham on a job and looks a bit snowy that way
  2. Nothing here, had a feeling it was going to be a bust! What a easterly! Enjoy the snow if you get it!
  3. Get all of these backing up against the Pennines like a few years ago and we will be laughing. great for longevity with the stronger heights to our north
  4. A nice 14 cm here, light drizzle now. Just been out for a drive to take the missus to work, all side roads are still thick with it but she’s a nurse so gotta get her in countdown to the next snow now hopefully but looking at it I think we are in a good position even if owt like gfs happens, it’s the southern contingent that are panicking
  5. Exciting few days/ weeks coming up, these snow events are what this weather watching is all about! Looking forward to seeing the kids faces tomorrow @Scott Ingham keep your chin up mate, all sending love for your family
  6. just getting the kids ready for school and telling them it’s going to be a good day more excited than them
  7. Thanks for your great input kasim and Scott Just turned to snow in lindley, north west Huddersfield
  8. Still nawt here in Huddersfield!! Just want to see big flakes falling for 10minutes. Only seen a tiny bit of dandruff this winter not asking for much
  9. I think it’s called snizzle, remember Matt Hugo saying it a few years back.
  10. Definitely a correction north on the 12z so far. Like the look of that pivot on Saturday.
  11. Another dog event goes raining on by!! One of the worst winters in recent years so far!
  12. Just started raining in Meltham Huddersfield, suppose it is expected to turn as the day goes on. Happy that it’s getting over the Pennines tho, that was my worry today?
  13. Great point, it should pick up more moisture over the sea so could be quite interesting
  14. Definitely, I think it’s half hope casting, half what the actual charts are showing in the mod thread. They are seeing it as a southern event but it looks like midlands will do best with either side of them up for grabs. Personally I reckon the front will reach south North Yorkshire before going off east. But as usual I will wait and see what met say and warning areas. Look out for more northern correction and less southern incorrection ?
  15. What a load of @#*t hate west and north west streamer setups. Pennines just eat it all. Had small sleety flakes for about 10mins. Hopefully looking at it some sort of e/ne flow to get us some proper snow.
