I think the Winter is truly over now and its time to accept this Winter one of the stormiest and mildest. Roll on the wash out Summer and hopefully next Winter will come early.

Oh well if you have clear skies look to the North. You might get to see the Aurora. People have seen it as far down as Essex tonight
It was clear last night and I looked north for it and it can't be seen.

Well surprise,surprise the GFS shows the PPN tonight not even reaching the region,on the other hand the met
office shows PPN reaching the region as i said yesterday IF the PPN reaches our region away from high ground
a slushy mess is about the best for low ground.
all not lost though we more wintry ppn showing Through Saturday-Monday.
To sum up a very messy picture to were snow may or not fall

That is not surprised me one bit. I just expected it to shifted south. Its mainly rain anyway.

Daily Express Tomorrow's Headline says: Britain is on Snow Alert. Meh.

I just watched the BBC weather and I was shocked to see a warning for snow. I thought Winter is over. I'm back for the interesting next few days at least.

According to Daily Star's tommorow's headlines it says: Sizzling Spring is on its way.

This Winter is so brutal. Anyway I'm not gonna type everything until next Winter if not next few weeks if the weather gets interesting. I rate this Winter 3/10.

I see a high pressure in Russia. Interesting. Maybe we see a storm slipping south-eastwards on that run.

I had enough of this mild winter. Roll on next winter. Its only 9 months away.
No doubt next Winter is more snowier than this.its short term pain for long term gain I guess.

Its absolutly freezing in Chorley. The wind chill is prob around -2 to -4c. I went out and about and my hands feels like a block of ice.

First post of day: it is cold and cloudy outside now.

Reports of snow over #Dartmoor & #Exmoor as well as heavy rain across much of the county.
Satellite 07:15am shows storm has grown overnight. Weather will deteriorate in UK during today.

At least the power is still up and running. That is a plus because I want to see lottery results tonight to see if I won or not.

The met office just downgraded the winds to amber now. It is still going to be nasty outside but it won't as bad as earlier.

New York is gonna warm up little bit before it turn much colder again next week. No doubt we gonna get more stormy weather to come next few weeks.
Daily average temp of New York in Feb is 3C but by Sunday it is gonna be minus 13C. That is way below average for time of year. It is pretty unusual for New York. -
Some people in South Cumbria and Lancs lost power. I don't know how many though. I only turned it over. BBC had said it.

According to the BBC reporter in Blackpool it is due to peak at 9pm. You gotta be joking right? It is worse enough right now.

I think this weekend is going to be a interesting one. It is going to be a lot colder and hopefully some white stuff on its way. If that fails than Winter is finished then.
I want snow so badly!!
