Its suddenly gone very windy here.
-
We just wish we build the world's biggest windfarm in Russia just to get a Easterly or Better still in Greenland we get a North-Westerly. It will blow any Atlantic weather away and we may call this Operation Snow Machine or Operation General Winter. I'm guessing this project will cost trillions of £s. lol.

Its been a miserable day today and Cuerden Valley river near here is almost bursting its banks. This morning it was normal. Crazy weather.
-
The reason i get the rain first is because of the warm front. Warm fronts usually descends its warm sector to the sea level.Whoah look at that http://www.raintoday.co.uk/mobileIt aint here, im suprised as your on a holl compared to me.Hill

This is looking a bit better, not a lot though snowise.
Still not enough. This winter is brutal. I'm not surprise if this downgraded by the time it arrives. So futile.

When i was walking down a canal I saw about 25 Canadian gooses. There is a myth if I see a lot of them, then the cold spell should be due any time in the next few weeks. I'm not giving up on this Winter just yet.
I will give up end of March if its stays zonal.

I have some dire news. The met office ruled out snow for Friday's weather its only restricted to Scotland hills and highest ground over Northern England. Too bad. How futile.

I blame the cold in north america for the mild winter we have. Without the cold and snow in the US we would've expecting cold and snow by now, if not already.
-
What a miserable day. Too bad we have no snow so far this winter.
According to my semi-trained thought I think mild Winters tends to lead to washout Summer. It was a hot Summer last year and it could be likely we may see alot of floods this Summer. Yuck. I hope not be the case. -
Speaking of chocolate I am drinking hot chocolate atm. yummy.
Raining here. It were tried to hail before though.

I think mild Winters tends to follow by wet and cool Summers. I hope this isn't the case.
We did have a hot Summer last year though but the odds of a wet one is pretty high atm.
-
I don't think it will be as bad as Christmas though. It is enough to bring a few branches down.
We still pretty much in the cold air mass on Sat.

Yeah i know what your saying, the worlds gone mad ever since the Jimmy Saville case, all these celebrities, never liked him anyhow as a kid, always thought he was creepy!! And then theres william roache from corrie, one charge has just been dropped today, not enough evidence.Anyhows, feels cold out here, plenty of cloud but not doing anything anymore
I also heard a boy aged 16 committed suicide from a footbridge over the M6 motorway at Leyland near I live. RIP. It was a terrible thing to do. It happened on Saturday night.
Weatherwise it is still cloudy here. I thought it was gonna clear for a night at first.

I prefer the last Thursday night's weather anyday over this damp squid. So far I rate this winter 3/10 so far. Worse since 2007-2008.
-
Nothing whatsoever here. If its does snow last night it would'nt stick because of wet surfaces. It did get snow last night but I blame the wet ground.
-
I just had a wintry shower here a few minutes ago and it only last for a few minutes though.

Heavy hail here now and it is covering the ground white rapidly now.
Just stopped now.

the temps don't have too be low for it to snow, look at last year for example it was 4C and it was snowing heavily. It only need dew point to drop low enough to snow. It is 6C right now and who knows what it will bring tonight.

Starting spitting here now. If we see any heavier stuff it should turn wintry. Its called evaporative cooling.
