  1. One question. Now I've received nearly 8 inches of accumulated snow why wasn't part of Greater Manchester included or even updated in the amber warning? And its still coming down! Not a scooby mate. Is it still coming down there?
  2. Depth of between 7 or 8 inches, much bigger drifts.
  3. Still smashing it down here, another memorable snow event for this winter, can't wait to see what its like come daylight!
  4. Yes Backtrack prove all these doubters wrong! For what its worth I believe you!
  5. Just isn't giving in here. Continuous. Not heavy but moderate, I think this is going to last a few hours.
  6. Met Office haven't updated their warnings yet and won't do until at least 11:30am, so warning areas may change and most probably will. Exactly! Strange claim that with all due respect!
  7. Still snowing moderately & blowing a hoolie here! Hope this cover stays and we get more later on!! EDIT: Not long before the end now for here, precipitation quickly dying out.
  8. or unless the stuff in the Irish sea pivots. It makes sense in my opinion.
  9. If it starts to pivot & that's a big if, if it does the Met Office would be justified in their amber warning area.
  10. Me too, but if it did that would tie in nicely with the Met Office Amber area as well as being extended slightly north and south as well. Just hopecasting I know but this is complex.
  11. Could that heavy precipitation in the Irish sea also be dragged in I wonder?
  12. Precipitation dying from the south now. The Met Office have once again failed with their amber warning for today & I feel sorry for the people on here who were in it. Unless this system is expected to pivot anytime soon west to east with all that heavy precipitation smashing into the origional amber area. Does anyone know?
  13. Ok fair point mate. I'll be more considerate in the future. But in all honesty in not exactly great all the time here but we do catch a few good events sometimes.
  14. Currently got a 3 inch drift up my front windows here! lol
  15. Sticking fine here as well with perhaps another few hours to come yet as well Met Office got their amber warnings wrong by the look of things.
