    Oh deep joy!! Matt Hugo latest @MattHugo81: Latest EC32 maintains a generally colder than average, but drier than average outlook well into April. Little sign of any warmth.

    Kind of inline with what Ian F said, 10-16D . Nothing warm expected! Or along those lines. Better the UKMO than the GFS. IMO

    Unfortunately the weather will do what it does. I'm fairly certain nobody in here wants sheep to die or farmers to suffer, along with anything or anyone else for that matter. But we enjoy the weather extremes and shouldn't be chastised for that, What will be will be sadly. It's down to authorities to warn people, personally last week I think Red warnings should have been issued. But there you go.

    Yes, I must admit I am almost ready to throw in the towel for Winter now. I have stuff I need to get done in Garden! Grrhhh! If only we had this setup in January!!

    We all really upset the Mod thread last week, that was fun! We had a chance at snow Friday with approaching fronts, now looks like that's on Hold until Sunday/Monday, if indeed it happens at all. But UKMO looks good to my eye this morning, ECM a bit dodgy!

    Damn those French, even though I know it's not strictly there fault, but damn them! Grhh Oh I remember that, was that when the entire region surrounding us got smashed, but Dorset, zilch! That was possibly the most frustrating thing I have ever witnessed!!

    I am no fan of dull weather, agreed there, but in order to have the possibility of an extreme snow event, sustained cold in place is key! Look at last weeks, that was complete misery, not cold enough, and buckets of rain, yuk!

    I'm liking that very much! I know this cold weather is trying everyone's patience, but this is why I'm hooked on the weather, I love the extremes it can bring, so I'm in my element right now! We could potentially see snow in southern England in April? Bring it on!

    Well in my opinion, I can't see it being to far north, not the way the jet is aligned surely? If anything it will miss us to the south. That's where my bet is right now. Will be an interesting few days that's for sure.

    I don't really see anything resembling Mild in those. Incredible cold given the time of year. Perhaps slightly less cold from roughly the weekend, but even that now has to be a case if more runs needed, Atlantic will break through eventually, but I think it's a while of yet!
