probably right just revealing my lack of knowledge I could have sworn it was progged to stall and retreat back west before dying out?

Just started here too but still worry front passed to east much quicker and will leave us in a following mild sector

have a horrible feeling the front will push right through and leave us all in the south in a mild sector what do you more experienced guys think? no evidence of stalling and pushing back west as some anticipated

Whiteout blizzard in Bridgend at the moment long may it last!!! Absolutely no evidence roads have been gritted at all here!!

Cheers Jay I just wonder if anyone can say where it will come from as band looks like it will clear cardiff within a couple of hours, do you recon it will stall?

Hi Jay, The band looks to pass through our area in a few hours where will the precipitation for longer snowfall originate from

Really looks like a good few hours on the radar and the NAE that Andy posted earlier looks a good 24 hours!!

How much on the ground in Swansea at the moment ?? looks like some really heavy stuff coming your way very soon on the radar

Blimey that over 24 hours of continuous snow, can that really be right, probably a stupid question but surely this cand all be coming from this one band of precipitation that on the radar looks to clear south wales in a few hours?? wheres it coming from??

Lol see what you mean there!!! Supposed to be travelling to Wrexham mid week so be nice to north Wales with some snow cover

My only concern now is looking at the radar that band will quickly clear south wales, or is it expected to stall????

Just heard its even started snowing at the Oxwich Bay Hotel on the Gower

Snow line now rapidly extending to coastal margins So Swansea and Cardiff bay should be in on the action at sea level within the next 30 minutes or so

Its interesting earlier on it looked like the northern portion of the band was going to hit North Wales but it seems to be making little progress. I really hope you guys get something out of this later

The really heavy stuff over the tip of West Wales will be interesting when it arrives in Mid Glam and Cardiff looks to be in these areas around about 6:30 Dew points really plummeting now at -1.5 outside air temp just above freezing

Same here (I guess it would be as your just down the road) temp dropping further now 0.5 and starting to settle on car roofs and windscreens wont be long before a covering To be fair they did say snow in cardiff by 3am which looks prety spot on I would guess you will have to suffer another 45 min of rain like us in mid glam
