EDIT:enhanced ppn at the mo from the east, hopes to wake up white in the morning.smile.png

  2. Just thought I'd mention - latest BBC forecast shows heavy snow for all of our region, NO rain.

still one to watch though Aaron,we have been here many times before and been let down, keeping level headed at the mo.

though, there are two fronts heading SE later sunday night and on monday, the first will def be of snow but it's the other front i am not so sure of,we will find out tomorrow in regards of snow potential, good luck peeps, off for now.

  4. Haha!,just looked at the 10 dayer on this sight for snow chances(gfs based),it shows 0% for tonight from now until tommorow night, then 80% from tomorrow night,80% for monday and 90% for tuesday, just shows you how global the gfs is at pin pointing this part of the world(miliscale if not smaller) this is

putting that aside, how unpredictable the snow is forecast.

  5. Just getting the odd flake of summerts here. Might be a bit frost floating around.

I'm hoping it's not as deep as 2010. The kids want it half way up the door again though and I've told them they'll have to dig us out.

y not,i would like to witness that again and we might still yet,as for the kids, chuck em a fiver they will dig trust me good.gif .

  6. Certainly looking like an interesting night for some of us. Just been eyeing up a bit of a streamer getting it's act together. An area of 50J/kg CAPE off the Humber estuary certainly helping with a bit of convection taking place.

White world in the morning? biggrin.png

    Hi PP

    yes,2010 anyonebiggrin.png

    EDIT,snows starting again.

  7. If the dewpoints become more favourable during the night, we could end up with a surprise covering as the radar looks quite good, with plenty of PPN to come for several hours yet.

this radar watch at the moment reminds me of 2010 with the moisture coming off the north sea was fueling these showers, and we all know what happened then,ok it won't be like that but we in this neck of the woods could wake up to some supprises in the morning.

    EDIT:snowing heavier here now,and got a light dusting as i typeclapping.gif
