    Really ramped up as it moved North of here, deep purples on the radar and fairly continuous rumbles of thunder

    Yep, mentioned this morning the station-less void around Worksop and Nottinghamshire in general, also a big void between Northampton/Leciester/Grantham

    You can sit here till you're blue in the face chatting absolute rubbish about the validity of weather stations, the fact is that many stations in different areas of the country have topped 40c.

    Heathrow leading the way at 32.2c There's a worrying void of no stations in this area near Worksop which could be the hottest area
