    Not got above 0.0c here today, still a dusting of snow around and the trees are coated white, dense fog in places too. A proper winter day!

    Looking lively again on the Radar, strikes now detected N Lincs & S Yorks That cell over Ashbourne just exploded into life also

    Nice little storm NE of Doncaster, shame i turned back and headed South!

    Hmm, looking a little more fragmented on radar tonight, do we think this will survive its journey North?

    Think I'll get out of work and head for the SW part of the Peak District, see if I can watch some storms rolling North as the evening goes on, good luck guys

    Sat watching distant flashes over what i guess is Birmingham, can hear a very very faint rumbling, amazing stuff

    Work in the morning.. but sod it, I'm heading out, night time storms are a rarity!

    Really ramped up as it moved North of here, deep purples on the radar and fairly continuous rumbles of thunder
