    This looks a similar view to what I had but I may be just getting disoriented, I ended up heading up to the Peak District in pursuit of storms, only to have to rapidly turn around and head back home after seeing what was approaching. Located myself to the East of Chesterfield and saw a good barrage of CGs on the hills towards Owler Bar and SW Sheffield.

    Drove back through town in some torrential rain, roads were pretty gnarly, a good storm, still seeing the odd distant flash to the NE

    It certainly looked that way for a moment! Disappointing really as I was in the perfect spot. This was looking NE as what was left of the storm went by.
