    Well it's been a stunner of a day!!....temps around 22c a few clouds but plenty of strong sunshine Perfect evening with clear skies and lovelly sunset.

    :shock: .....It's 23.20 we are having a very,very heavy squally shower accompanied by hail.It was so heavy i was trapped in my car on the drive with my wife waiting for it to slow!!.........mad.

    It's snowing quite heavily here in Swindon,it's settling on cars and now slowly starting to cover the grass.Ohhhhhh how exciting!

    Mostly clear skies, then a heavy flurry of snow! The only dark cloud in the sky then clear again,strange.I think the conditions are right for more tonight.

    Just had a very heavy hail storm @0.10am (sun) with very gusty winds from the north.Showed up very well on the BBC Radar pic for 23.00.

    Well what a cool day here in Swindon,disappointed at first then BANG!! it all went crazy.Seeing the lightening (7 flashes) in a snowstorm is a first for me..........and my 70 year old dad. This is my 'poor' car!!

    .....all is quiet now.Been out with my kids and generally being a kid myself!! It's the first time i remember having lightening in a blizzard :idea: The lightening was a strange electric blue,and the rumbles were 'different'?

    :shock: Wow.....and i thought Swindon was boring!!..........Just before 1700 it started to rain a bit, then down came the snow!!! Very heavy with gale force winds too. As if that wasn't enough there has been 6 flashes of lightening with a strange eerie roar of thunder! :shock: .........This is a first for me.Enjoy! As i type there has just been another bright flash and rumble.Anyone else enjoying?

    Snowing here in Swindon Wilts, only a light dusting to roofs etc.Fairly heavy at times but light at the mo.If you look at the 9.00am BBC radar you can see the cloud responsible. Al.

    Morning!.....yes alot fresher today,20c at 10.45am, clear skies with a light to fresh wind.Min temp last night was 15c.
