Slight cloud, the rain in the west over Bristol seems to have stalled rather than continue east towards me.

Started raining here around 11.45am Tuesday, it's still raining now!

What a stunning day we had here in Swindon.The day started very misty, which cleared around mid-day leaving a beautiful clear sky.Went for a walk in a local country park and it felt like a perfect summers day, temp was around 20c with little or no wind.

Snowing quite heavily here atm.It's been unable to settle all day due to the wet ground.

Woke up to some settled snow but nothing spectacular.It has been snowing nearly all day with sleet then rain .Currently snowing again maybe moreso when the sun sets hopefully bringing colder temps!

Just had a heavy snow/hail storm(18.00).............seems to have stopped now,lots of heavy looking cloud about now so fingers crossed! -

It's just started to snow quite heavy flakes here in Swindon, Wilts.

Radar shows the rainband pushing eastwards across my area, rain is getting heavier and winds are strong.Pressure 1007.

Very windy last night!! Worst i have seen in a long time.I was awoken at 04.30am by the noise of the wind and rain!! Fences in my garden are still up luckly, still gusty now and skies are blue!

The wind is really picking up now, very blustery almost stormy at times.Pressure is dropping still, now at 1011, rain has stopped but i expect more soon.

Windy...ish Raining and 10c, pressure 1012 falling. Seems some parts of Northern Ireland are having their first thunder and lightening of 2005 already!!

I was awoken at 1.00am this morning by a huge hail storm! It is very rarely that i'm awoken but this was loud! Hail bouncing off everything and the wind howling, it lasted about half hour and i returned to sleep I looked on the radar for about this time and could see bright red echoes, london areas should of had this weather also? Anyone confirm?

The rainband that is working south and east is now in my area, wind is also picking up too,but temps are above freezing at least!

That's incredible! Not slushy snow either, nice crisp powdery snow.Itf it can happen there, then there's hope in the south here in the UK!

Here in Swindon, there was 'wet' snow earlier, now at 11.45am it is actually snowing big flakes but as the ground is wet no settling is occurring.

16.35 we are having a very heavy squally shower with very strong wind!
