    If this thundery plume edges slightly more east then Swindon might be in for a shout, fingers crossed.

    Looking on the Net weather radar i can see a huge arch of storms developing from the SW.

    Checking the latest sat pic for 700am this morning and i instantly spotted this image. Looks to me like an image of Jesus over Ireland?? See what you think.

    Northern France now has storms which are on course for the south coast if they survive the Channel.

    Still 19c at 23.30 here in Swindon. Temps peeked around 27c today, just looking forward to tomorrows storm potential as i have Monday and Tuesday off work. It's going to be a hot one trying to sleep tonight.

    I'm off Monday and Tuesday so could be interested. I have a car fit for purpose (Freelander) and i'm over in Swindon Wiltshire so would have to head eastwards if forecasts are as good as predicted.

    Hi Tom cheers for the update. I have family in the Croydon area and usually call my uncle to give him a 'heads up' on any interesting weather. (No answer this time!)

    Following the track of that rain/storm it's looking good for Wiltshire/Somerset/Hampshire. Anyone on here from the Channel Islands as they were a direct hit?

    Getting very warm and humid here in Swindon with temps passing 20c and with the strong sun feeling hot hot hot! Fingers (and toes) still crossed! Netweather storm risk for Swindon says 71% and 63% for tomorrow!

    Swindon now at 22c and clear, due to us having a BBQ this evening there's going to be a storm. All head to Swindon SN3.

    Interesting read, we are having a St Georges BBQ here in Swindon so for once don't really want a storm! Can anyone predict Swindons chance of a storm?
