My summary would be: 1) Not enough sunshine - period 2) Summer days were not hot enough 3) Summer nights were too warm 4) Winter was too warm 5) Not enough snow 6) Not enough frost 7) Not enough fog (I Like damp patches) Anything to do with before summer, because of my medication, I cant remember
  2. Mawnin' Temperature is a respectable 2oC, with our second, and probably worst, fog of the winter. Seems to have been a dry night.
  3. Hi Mr Data. Great Photos. Can I just ask. What was it like on the 16.04? Taking into account sods law, was it raining?
  4. Temp - 4oC Feel Like - 2oC Wind - ENE @ 5mph Dew - 3oC Humid - 93% Bar - 1019.0mb A very dull day, with low cloud. Also feels a little warmer than its saying.
  5. Yes. A nice 'in the middle' day, with sunny breaks. Quite a nice feeling comared to the last few days. Anyway, off to Copenhagen in 30 mins, and with no snow forecast there, with similar temps than here (well, between 6-8oC), snow will start to make its appearance on the market, due to its lack of. I suspect, in another 10 years, we shall be buying it off e-bay...now theres an idea
  6. A little quiet at the mo I pressume. Keeping an eye on the radar for anythin moving in from the east. Just to add a little joy, there was a sleety shower this morning east of Melton mowbry.
  7. Sleet (Snow and hail) shower - Derby 05.00 Various snow showers between Derby and A17/Saplding. Surprinsgly, no snow at Kings Lynn. Apart from a hail shower about 10 mins ago.
  8. Morning Rollo. Glad to see you got some snow last night. Had a little sleety drizzle around 10 miles south of leicester on the M1 last night at both 18.00 and 22.30. But poo really. Currently 0oC, Slight Frost (not as bad as last night) and a sky clearer than the dislike between Gordon Brown and Tony Blair.
  9. A good covering on snow here. The only problem is that the snow seems to have melted in mid-air  I suppose youve always got to look on the bright side of life.
  10. Just turned very dark here. No PPN though (yet?) Correction - Rain/sleet Correction Again - Rain Third Correction - Heavy Rain
  11. A few light flakes blowing about in the wind. Not alot, but its quality, not quantity. Isnt it  ?
  12. Temp - 1oC Feel Like - -4oC Wind - WSW @ 16mph Dew Point - -2oC Humidity - 81% Barometer - 992.9oC No snow as yet. Icy conditions outside (As opposed to the inside ) Reportedly Partly Cloudy from where the above information came from, but actually clear skies. Will be interesting to see if the showers over yorkshire move south or s/e wards. Will make it a hit or miss situation here I think. Update: 08.24 - Whisps of cloud now rolling in. And Yes. I'm getting excited about clouds
  13. Hi TM. I'm in S. Derbyshire. Do you think it will be coming down this way (By E.Midlands Airport)? WE are fairly high up I believe, but not excessively like yourself. Damn. Its days like this I wished I lived remotely on the top of a mountain
  14. Very strange. Either we havent got many people on line in the n/w of scotland, or the snow is much heavier in the east B)
  15. Just thought i'd add. Melton Mowbry - 06.00 a.m. - 12oC <_< Spalding - 07.00 a.m. - 13oC :o :o
  16. Certainly looks to be a good peppering of heavy, but small, showers, packing in to the n/w. Anybody getting the snow.
  17. Typical Platham. I live south of Derby, and usually when Stoke gets snow, so do we (Eventually). So could this be my second snowy day of the season. No. Why? Because today was the day I decided to go to my office in Kings Lynn <_<
  18. This first morning this season where I had to de-ice my car. Annoying (as it was 05.30 this morning), but looked the bees knees.
  19. Temp - 3oC Feels Like - 0oC Wind - wnw@12mph Dew Point - 0oC Humidity - 75% Barometer - 1004.1mb Current Conditions - Clear Skies (last time I looked)

  21. Does anybody know the possabilities of building a second land tier over the UK. Say around 2000ft high, so that all us snow lovers could build houses on it

Quite noticable really.
  23. Temp - 2oC Feels Like - -2oC Wind - West @ 12mph Dew Point - 1oC Humidity - 93% Barometer - 1021.0mb Current Conditions - Seems cloudy, but its a bit dark to see exactly
  24. Certainly colder than yesterday. This morning it was 10oC in Glasgow. As I went into the mountains between scotland and Omicron Persei 8 (sorry, dont know what their called), it dipped to 4.5oC. I initially thought it was just a temp drop going up hill, and it would return to about 10oC as I dropped altitude. Didnt happen. All the way back from Omicron Persei 8 to Derby, between 5-6.5oC. So really, quite a nice day in the end.
