Turned out to be a lovely day here. Managed to spend most of the afternoon gardening. Well. Hacking everything down for winter. I wouldnt go as far to call it gardening in itself.

First frost of the year where I have been up in the morning (which I do everyday, before you ask <_< ), where there is a white residue left. Not particularly wide spread, but, the first none the less.

Hi KT. I take it was just rain ? I was in Malton yesterday morning, annd temps were about 7oC. However, when I went about 60 miles south, the temp dropped to 4-5oC. It was a very strange day yesterday between n.yorks and s.derbys. I experienced, rain, sleet and snow, and of course some looneys on the motorway .

Temp -2 Fells Like -7 Dew Point -3 Humidity 91% Barometer 1019.0 Conditions are clear skies (although a few 'tufty' clouds starting to appear). Approximately max. 2-3cm of lying snow (none on roads or pavement anymore).

I've been between derbyshire and County Durham/Teeside today. Its been cloudy all day, and have need my lights on every single mile of the journey. Temps ranged from 9.5oC to 11.5oC

Sorry, I dont have one of those weather reading thingeemajigee's - So i've taken the nearest data from the weather channel Clear Skies Temp 11oC Wind Chill (Feels Like) 11oC Wind 8mph se Duepoint 10oC Humidity 94% Barrometer 988.1 A very strange morning. Was outside at 06.30 a.m. and it was absolutely 'jimmy riddling' it down. An hour later, it was clear skies and no wind (Oooo. It must be an eye of the storm :shock: :shock: :lol: ). PS Humidity seems to be down to 88% now TTFN SR
