I fear a huge back track tonight by the ecm and others. Was really optimistic earlier but thimgs just arent quite clicking are they together rightly.
I hope we dont end up with boring dry cool nothingless december when we had so mych potential.

Problem is that ssw's or split vortexes down the line dont guarentee us cold and snow. And ITS ALWAYS at the latter stages, therefore always downgrades!
Ive been on here for so many years but always find that the things we ask for just never come to fruition! Another let down in the making. Gfs always pucks up on spoilers! Please dont give me that its only nov stuff. Every year that is said and then before we know it, were in feb and still...
Always works when the charts show mild weather, never any spoilers etc then. Sods law really.

Its shocking. Its dry and frosty yes, but with south westerlys eventually and no quick return to cold on those charts! That high would just slip into europe. We would then be looking at after christmas as per...

And here we go again. The met are being cautious as per marco's tweet. Would be typical them being right against all the background noise we can see and hear because theyd have egg on their face if not.
The mets long range has been flipping like the gfs recently!!

I think were just in another rut of continuously led up the garden path routine.
It will just be mild and wet for the for-seeable.
Can never get excited with incredible synoptics showing across the board in a 0-5day timeframe.

Pathetic attempts at forecasts by met office and Paul Hudson. The prolonged and intense nature of this rain was never forecast for here. Just light showers. Good job we cancelled our bbq.

Incredibly the strong wind has just changed from a south westerly round to a north westerly, just like that! Even though the front hadn't moved through yet. Anyone know how that is? The isotherm line must be moving faster toward the est coast in the end than we first thought.

Peaked at 36.2c. Doubt any higher now as become quite cloudy and breezy. But wow all around.

If only this gfs 18Z came to fruition with other models coming on board. I hope mogreps still like this idea. Forget this week, next weekend could be incredible going by this run.
It all starts early too by 120hr. However ecm showed belting north easterlies for this week only for the low to sit on top of us...
We just need that shortwave that sits over scotland early on to drop south or dissapate as per the 18z gfs and then its game on!
Please this time, please... something special. Needs to be, has to be right!? Or the hangover of overnight runs tomorrow morning...?
