  1. People are trashing the cold spell of the next week, not the whole winter
  2. That's really bad luck, all the signs pointed to a good outlook but it seems that it's not going to happen as we wished
  3. The ECM backs up the trend showed in the minor models, while GFS and UKMO stand alone now.
  4. More reasons to worry, BOM following what GEM and NOGAPS showed before
  5. Interesting to see that GFS keeps showing a very disrupted PV
  6. Yes, but after that it starts closing blocking again Much better this run
  7. The models divide the northen hemisphere in several chunks. Those chunks are bigger in the GFS than in the ECM, that's why the ECM is more accurate. On the other hand, every model is better in their own place, because they have more information. According to Meteociel: Ces cartes présentent les prévisions du modèle JMA (modèle japonais) pour les 8 prochains jours. So it's Japanese
  8. Even in the low resolution the PV is smashed, this is a strong northerly LOL
  9. It's amazing to see how the lower resolution kills the worth of the second panel. From this To this in just 24h What i was expecting was that the high pushing up from the east coast of USA would link to the Green High, but the GFS is always biased to stronger the atlantic lows.
  10. GFS and ECM very similar now, both showing the Vortex Split
  11. Amazing run de controle And it's also amazing how disruptive the PV is shown in the last chart of the GFS Run of Controle keeps being really amazing
  12. When I see these charts I remember the charts of this year's February. The GFS used to push the Escandinavian high to the east, but as the charts came closer into time, the movement was made to the west, like if it were fixing the eastward it has
  13. You will have a nice wake up if you have a look into the 0z run of the GFS, it has taken it where it left at 18z and improve it. Almost a very good split at 228h
