  1. Well I must be looking at different models, the ecm looks cold & wintry for the north throughout the whole run from monday onwards with huge snow potential although considering most members are from southern and southeast england it's not so promising down there with cold rain more likely.

I would say look for upgrades for those in the southern counties. A lot can change with this sort of setup.

  2. I do wonder that ROBERT from stoke on trent was on to something when he posted couple of days ago look at the bigger models his post read mark my words big snow event by weekend or just before. I apologise if this is of topic its just wierd.

    I think he is right.

    Thanks Silver

Well I said yesterday to quote myself "Tuesday is the day you should all be closely model watching for the upcoming event and it's when the fun really starts!".

So don't worry about this 18z glitch :nonono:

  3. hello Robert. was wondering if you would have any input into the winter discussion this season :) glad to see your view is one of the cold type. plenty of hot drinks and biscuits will be needed if your U Turn comes about :)

    Hello Maf,

Defiantly so I had better get to the shops soon before they sell out :)

  4. Unfortunately Paul you missed the SW tracking SE from the parent LP. This actually brings snow to the UK!

If everyone wants to believe the chances of an E,ly are long gone than fair enough. I however keep an open mind when you have ensembles like below.

These might be for Holland but synoptically it only requires a relatively small shift.

I agree with you eye, it's one run and that low will bring snow to us. I think paul b woke up in a mild mood today :)

  5. ECM 00Z is better though, more runs needed i feel and to be honest if it doesnt come off who cares, we've had loads of snow and cold for ages now, do people expect heatwaves all summer long no of course not so why the same in winter but cold.

This is model thread, do you have to talk about heatwaves in winter lol
