  1. Absolutely agree, I think even T120 at the moment is going to change quite a bit. None of the models are handling it that well, a difference of 300 miles further North with the high pressure and we could be seeing snow showers for the majority of the UK, 300 miles further South and it's cold and dry conditions. It's little changes like that that will make a massive difference come next week.

Hey Andy Good to see your about mate  :nonono: on it's way! Winter is calling me back to my favorite weather site netweather :nonono: Back on topic now! how the models have been the last few days and the swing in mainly one direction means only one thing, upgrades to come later today!

  2. I class that as another victory for Robert :D

Yes ok maybe blizzards was overcooked but if you live in the Peak District or West Midlands you can certainly confirm that there was some heavy snow around last night!

Hey Andy :D Thanks and cheers  :D  :D

I know this is not December forecast thread but I will post my next what I feel will be very big snow event which will be around December 11th to 13th :cold::cold:

    Snow/Blizzards 18th to 22nd November 2007

    Hi,

Well here is my prediction for a big snow event on or between the dates above. It's going to be a winter wonderland this year!

    Rob

Well maybe not blizzards but I got snow and some others ;)

  4. well quite worried now as most my town and it's shops is under water. canals overflowed as well. I am like 20 second walk from it reaching my house as on abit of a hill. The thing is it does not loog good and seems closer all the time.

No more rain for our area is there tonight ?

  5. Robert, I'm sure you mean well but seriously, please don't talk as if you know everything that the weather is going to bring over the coming x months, it really doesn't do your credibility any favours at all.

Understood Paul. That is why I did say I would not post anything just in my blog and in a more realistic time frame.

I only give what I am given but will hold things back for months ahead if I get more

  6. Light snow in sheff but noting to writehome about.Whasts your thinking robert on the weeks ahead :)

    Hi swfc :)

Well anything I get I have put in my blog I have got a few things I must admit for many months ahead but I am going to hold back as I don't want to be posting events for August this early! :D Think I would rather hold back till a bit closer to the mark.

Anything I get though within a reasonable time frame of a few weeks to a month then i will put it in my blog.

Latest in my blog predictions is the 19 and 20th February and the 3rd March.

It is looking good though for more snow in my opinion :)

Thanks Yeh I just love seeing it falling even if it doesen't settle! Maybe Matthews prediction will turn out to be true if that band crosses us tonight and gives some more snow for a time... It will technically be the 10th after midnight

hehe true! *passes cookies and chocolate around*

    Robert

  7. Yum Yum thank you Roberto ;) Glad you still have snow coming down ;) The edge of the band of snow gave us a lil bit of a dusting on the pavements about half hour ago but its cleared away now so it will soon melt again, i'm hoping to see some more at some time between 12 and 6am from that second band, but its borderline at the moment, so its a case of wait and see!

Well I hope you get some later tonight Andy even if it settles for a while for you at least it is snow:) Then look forward to the coming weeks ahead :cold::doh:

  8. Nooooo me wants more cookies and hot chocolate! I need to comfort eat and drink after seeing my snow melt at midday and have sleety snow since which didnt come close to settling! While Coalville 15 miles north west of me still have 2 inches on the ground and its settling there still.

Cookies and hot choccy all the way!

*passes you extra cookies and chocolate* :(

It is a hard one Andy I wish it would start again for you. It was not settling here all afternoon but now massive flakes and it is sticking nicely.

    Robert
