  1. Deakin just said on news 24 that the area of snow will grind to a halt over north east England and Eastern Scotland tomorrow, but I wouldn´t be surprised if this happened a bit further south over our region on strength of how slowly its moved up from south this afternoon.
  2. Very Wintry week ahead Snow risk decreasing from midweek as high presure moves over uk this will result in lower temps especially at night with fog and frost. Signs of an Atlantic break through next weekend but confidence is low.
  3. Looks like atlantic could break through next weekend but its a long way off and I dont think he was all that confident this is what will happen.
  4. Driven to Skeggy many times with having family living down that way and many times there´s been loads of snow up around Louth but soon as you get within a few miles of Skeg its rain.
  5. East Midlands thread reporting heavier snow and more importantly a drop in temperature.
  6. Looks quite Snowy at Stamford Bridge and that's probably one of warmest areas of south with been so heavily populated.
  7. We could do with some good cloud breaks this evening just before main snow arrives to allow a drop in temperature. A clear night last night might have helped as well. All this cloud cover is just one big duvet.
  8. Wall of your house?? That could have a slight affect. Stick it snow and it will make you feel better. Ps Few little flakes coming down here in Rotherham.
  9. Some people get worried when they see snow thawing on pavements and roofs but you have to remember, pavements get spray from traffic on roads which contains salt and snow thawing on roofs is caused by heat rising through property. Ps just started Snowing.
  10. Can't see us getting anymore than a dusting tonight but it should freeze. -2 and lower outside towns.
  11. This cloud cover isn't helping either. Could do with some good breaks this evening. Between showers of course.
  12. Still coming down here in Rotherham. Should have enough to build a Snowman soon.
  13. Light Snow in a increasing breeze here in Rotherham, should be an interesting drive to work at Ecclesfield.
  14. Great forecast from Paul. Only slight concern is Tuesday outlook, despite showing easterly winds temperature of +3c.
  15. I think he'd already had prepared his forecast and didn't want any extra work. Paul Hudson will give a more up to date forecast.
