  1. I hope the BBC are right as I will be driving around the area for about 10 hours tomorrow. Looking forward to no traffic, and no snow.
  2. Just been to watch the kids (in fact mostly dads) sledging down the hill near my house, bitterly cold out with a nasty biting easterly wind off the North Sea.
  3. The sheep on the far right of the picture is saying to the one next to him "at least our little lambs will get warm in the oven."
  4. Actually the most prized lamb should be slaughtered between 5 and 6 months of age. On a weather note we have that constant fine sleety ice stuff falling here.
  5. While we are on the subject of Lamb cooking, the only bit I'm absolutely certain about is you have to drag the little screaming lamb away from its mother while it's still juicy and tender and then kill it. After that I'm not 100% sure.
  6. So it didn't quite make it to Lowestoft. Don't really blame it, Lowestoft's pretty boring this time of year.
  7. I kid you not, it's snowing in Lowestoft. I can now die a happy man. Goodnight all, and the best of luck for tomorrow.
  8. Starting a 25 hour shift at work tomorrow at 7am. So will be missing out on the internet and having to use the window. I will be home again on Saturday around 9am. If Lowestoft has any snow on the ground I will be surprised, but pleased. Good luck to you all.
  9. My apologies once again to all female drivers, my original comment was a tongue in cheek, and completely politically incorrect joke better suited to the 1970s than to the less funny 2013s. I have now learned my lesson well.
  10. Please ignore the radar when it shows snow over Lowestoft. The radars Lowestoft is not the real Lowestoft. I'm looking out of the window and it is a completely snow free zone.
  11. I think they were just being sexist. I think women are great drivers as long as they are sitting in the passenger seat............Light touch paper and stand back.
  12. So as the low gets closer the temperature should rise even more. Thanks for the explanation.
  13. Weather expert required: Could someone tell me why the temperature here at the most easterly point in the UK has gone from -7c on Tuesday evening, to -6c yesterday evening, to +3c tonight? Edit: I have worked it out on my own. It's got warmer.
  14. Don't hold your breath. It skirted my house for two hours without any snow success. I held my breath, but passed out after three minutes.
