  1. We get a friendlier, and better class of weather enthusiast in here. Please don't tell the people from the London and South-East place about us or they might start posting in here and lower the tone.
  2. Thanks for the suggestion but I have already splashed out on a box of Sugar Coated Frosties today. So I will just have to look out of the window and try and work out if it's snowing or not. Thanks again.
  3. 5 minutes ago not a drop of snow to be seen, now the road outside completely covered in snow. Now waiting for the rain.
  4. I have just been down the shop and bought a box of Sugar Coated Frosties. Never underestimate the power of the internet. It's also just started snowing here, so if it's not snowing where you are it might be worth buying some Frosties, it worked for me.
  5. Looking at the Raintoday radar Lowestoft will be getting some very heavy rain showers in around 90 minutes time.
  6. So you might get some milk to go on your sugar frosties. Your day just gets better and better.
  7. If Carlsberg did snow storms they would have done the one we had in North Lowestoft last night. First we had two hours of torrential rain, this was followed by three hours of very heavy snow, then two more hours of torrential rain. So the snow looked fantastic as it was falling from the sky, but all gone in the morning so no tricky driving conditions. Perfect.
  8. It"s snowing here in North Lowestoft but no chance of settling after 3 hours of heavy rain.
  9. Met office has just placed my area in the Amber Warning section. I think this might be to warn us about the possible effects of sunstroke.
  10. According to the rain/snow radar we should have rain or snow when in fact it is a beautiful sunny winters day.
  11. I'm now going to bed as I have a long trip to make on Monday. Good luck to all you snow lovers xxx
  12. I always carry a flame thrower as part of my usual attire. In fact that might have been why they sectioned me before.
  13. Hopefully it won't come to that, if I can get the Post Box to put a good word in for me I might get off with a caution. Thanks for your concern.
  14. Sadly I don't have have a Plan B. So on Monday snow or no snow I will setting out on my 20 metre journey with a Sleeping Bag, Scotch, and plenty of Cigarettes, and a shovel. If I'm Sectioned I will be unable to post on here, so good luck to you all.
  15. I had worked it out as a wee nip of scotch every metre, but on the trial run this evening I had drunk the whole 70cl by the time I'd reached the Post Box at the end of my road. I then spent an hour chatting to the Post Box before realising it was a Post Box. So I am now reviewing my plan.
  16. You're right, I should forget the Ice Pick and replace it with more scotch.
