Very sunny and bright here. Off work today so I will be driving to Gorleston after lunch with the missus for a walk along the beach. Should be quite bracing.- 783 replies

All I can see here is snow, 35mph wind and snow blowing straight off the North Sea and across me on the cliffs. I find it quite impressive, the cat finds it incredibly boring and has gone to sleep.- 1,011 replies

Back home now in the most easterly point on Netweather, and it's quite breezy, very cold, and incredibly dry. So I will be spending the next hour drinking French Red Wine in celebration of the snow that Jersey will be getting tomorrow.- 1,011 replies

Just to point out that the ppn showing on the radar falling on Lowestoft from the North Sea is incredibly light. A couple of flakes a minute, and the "blob" in the North Sea is disappearing fast as it approaches land.- 1,011 replies

I have also had an impressive snowy winter in my mind, just a shame I have had so little snow outside of my mind.

My Met Office App just sent me a warning. 22.02.13. Please don't keep checking the radar for miniscule flurries of snow you sad little man, get a life. End of warning.

Amber warning, is that all? Surely the government should be organising one of those Cobra meetings, and if we had one they should call out the National Guard.

It is snowing here, but I'm a little concerned about using the word "snowing" as I could be prosecuted under the Trade Descriptions Act.

I think it's a bit rich people blaming the radar for getting this incredibly light snow/snizzle/sleet slightly wrong. The precipitation is so inconsequential that it's almost invisible.

I was going to post my time-lapse film of the snow so far from this "Beast from the East" but after viewing it back I have decided to delete it.
