Call me grumpy but: No matter how much the model thread clutches at straws - its not going to snow at Christmas Unless the weather is psychologically linked to animal and plant life, the weather will do what it does regardless of our wants and wishes (environmental/ global/ climate change not included in this rash generalizing statement) so matter how much the coldies/ warmies/ mildies and nipplies want the weather to suit them. Aldi was packed at 8am this morning - in gods name why?? Its not like everything is going to be shut for more than one day. Theres always a garage pasty.

The sound of straw clutching as usual in the model thread. I nailed last winter down to a T - warm wet and windy with a hot and violent summer stretching deep into autumn. 'Summer' for my area lasted from late March into Halloween with a blip for August *my mate Phil is my witness! Gut instinct into 2015? I honestly havent a clue but will stick my neck out for some 'proper' winter coming soon and maybe a late spring. Summer, dunno - keep the brolly handy or the sunscreen or the water butt...

Long drive home across the fens from Norwich yesterday and I was rewarded with a fantastic golden sunset. Cant complain.

Hilariously warm outside - just done the car whilst wearing t-shirt (and jeans, dont want to panic the little old lady at no.3...)
