    We'll see, a few miles off yet though, may weaken or disappear compleatly by the time it gets here, or may head slightly to far north. Would be nice to see it make it over here though.

    I know, such a shame, I wish I could see the cloud formation last night, I bet there was a gust front on the shower when the wind really picked up.

    We really need a lot less rain then that right now, doesn't look good for the south west that's for sure.

    Am I the only one who heard a rumble in this hail shower, well me and the others here in the house with me.

    Yep there was thunder and lightening last night. That hail is here now, plus more thunder.

    Thanks JP, but I'm sure there was a gust front on this lastest shower, not sure these gusts will show up on there.

    The wind has just gone totally bananas here lol, no idea what it is gusting at though, wish I had a weatherstation right now.

    To me it does not really matter if the moddles are showing any chance of cold. It may just suddenly turn up from about three days out just like this latest one, I just watch and see what turns up, My interest at the moment is what the big low is going to do.

    Nothing wrong with dry, sunny and mild, nothing wrong with windy either, I will be at my window watching the trees dancing in the wind. It's the wet part we do not want right now, as I'm quite sure the west country still need to dry out from the soaking from last year.

    I don't have a problem with a Mid Atlantic high, who knows it may even move North up into Greenland.

    The weak first band that turned out to be a few little showers.

    It was always going to warm up after the first front went through, as it was a warm front, still plenty of time before the main band comes through and it is a cold front with a warm sector. so time to keep calm and see what unfolds.

    I hope you get your heating fixed soon, why do boilers always break down when you need them, wouldn't matter so much during a mild spell.

    Is the blob in the Chanel coming from france part of the front or something else?

    If there is less energy further south it will not push past the block that is over us and the whole forcast will be very wrong. It will either get it's act together later and push through as forcast, or keep sliding north east leaving us with the cold air for now.

    wow your very optimystic, I'm expecting very little in the way of snow, if it comes then probably 4cm would be a bit more realistic. Mind you I wouldn't mind if 4 inches did turn up.
