    Hi everyone, a few snow very light fluries keep popping up, temp 0.

    Sounds like a good idea tbh, I think it's something countries used to big acumilations do already.

    I don't know just watching what happens, had a couple of little snow fluries since that bit of rain this morning, so it doesn't seem to want to let go easily but does seem to be warming up.

    Woke up to rain in croydon. Guess the snowy period had to end sometime, and it was nice to have a snow on snow event .

    Everyone thinks as the wind is coming from the south west here, it will be warm, but if your right JP we may be looking at one very big winter storm, will be interesting to see what unfolds here.

    I can't work out where the snow falling now is coming from, just that it's got heavier, is the main band moving east?

    The thing is we all know about this from when you posted it yesterday, and it really isn't a very nice subject to talk about. I don't like what he's done either, but would rather not have it ruining a nice thread.

    A bit late but my question to the person reporting rain in gilingham. Did you notice if it was freazing on contact?

    I doubt it, as I have not seen anyone upset that there hasn't been a streamer, mind you I've not read every post. I think he was really on about the amount of snow yesterday and the disappointment by the kent area. Before the later stuff showed up. May have missed something somewhere though.

    As long as the low doesn't center over here, or the medway region again, only fair they should get the snow this time.

    Had snizzle here all afternoon, hope something heavier will come along soon, not landing as the ground is wet and snizzle is so small.

    Funny you should say that, at my kids primary school they started a week late in Sep, saying that they are having all their inset days then so there is no interuption to the school year. On thursday letters were handed out for an inset day on monday. After I showed my husband the letter I said, it's a snow day not an inset day. He said it's not gonner snow lol.
