  1. Maybe Mon to Fri should be good, then dreading the wet and mild your location though may get lucky, dry on south coast after Friday
  2. I like dry of course, but mild is probably better the way the models are looking, many will not see a flake of snow before the wet/warm mess arrives
  3. Agree, may as well have been mild all along, at least the EC in FI looks fairly dry but maybe 14 degrees?
  4. I'm going for potentially warm the week of 22nd, at least dry on this but maybe 14 degrees, said this before the EC came out
  5. hmmm, low levels like my area may struggle, this trough seems to be killing the cold uppers
  6. Next week looking cold and dry, maybe odd passing snow flurry, but turning milder between 19th-21st, from then I expect some very mild, even warm air at times with the flooding and met office named storms
  7. it is yes, my location somehow is classed as W Midlands, but to me W Midlands is B'ham area
  8. rain back with flooding soon, from around 20th with double figure temps
  9. Snow fans don't look at GFS 18Z, all gone for Wed/Thur, this looks realistic though, very poor run though if it's snow you're after
  10. The icon chart, top one will be useless here, Manchester/Preston etc in firing like for over a foot
  11. need winds more NW'ly here, this will bury SK4, like 20th Dec '09 and 5th Jan '10
  12. around same as this Dec, 8cms or so, but the 2 days after were below zero with clear skies, before the Atlantic rolled in for 2001, after a bit of leading edge snow on new years eve
  13. put similar in NW thread, as I am in NW of this region, close to Crewe, that and 27th to 28th Dec 2000
  14. flow looks too straight on Monday, wishbone, but that is our only hope I think, winds look WNW on tues, so could be a window of NW'lys on Mon night
  15. definitely coldest feeling wait today for the 12, when it's dry with no snow on ground or due, think I'd rather it was mild and the EC for Monday is a 'waste'? -9 850's but wishbone effect
  16. GFS 00Z practically snowless, expect it to be near enough the result, certainly about the low going into France, then we turn milder with a whimper on 19th
