  1. light hail shower gone through, more like late March spell this! full thaw without milder air
  2. Yes full thaw, as expected as 4° always forecast, miles too warm for snow to stay, I expect it to stay though over 300m
  3. not a bad trough! hour of heavy snow, but expecting thaw today, meant to be upto 4°, mild sector must have been just west of me!
  4. Decent covering, that lot over Scotland heading our way, more of a wintry mix though, with mild sector involved
  5. Streamer just got me, who knows west Stafford, Gnosall etc might be missing out, I live SE Stafford
  6. Yeah, certainly have my doubts for Friday 13th, mild sector always been there
  7. dosen't look great on bbc weather video website, updated at 9.08pm
  8. Snowing! frost seemed to develop before as well!
  9. @Dancerwithwings my posts won't come on straight away, but yes Cheshire Gap firing up
  10. Think the GFS was accurate a few days in advance, cold air always arriving at 6pm, after the front, mild sector still being modeled tomorrow, rain/sleet I would think at low levels
  11. light snow! cheshire gap coming alive! my first flakes since April!
  12. Yes, and miles better than rain, think GEM might be close with that
  13. Was always going to be the way it went, cold air arriving after the front
  14. Not a great thing maybe, cold air just over us at 6pm, feel anything before 6pm rain (low levels)
  15. Agree but I'm not looking forward to Sunday/Monday, 2 days of non stop rain
  16. This is when we have a snow chance, good wind direction for showers through the Cheshire Gap, but still mild sector tomorrow am, likely to be a wet morning tomorrow under say 200m asl
  17. Cold air not meant to arrive until 6pm, our chance has always been through a Cheshire Gap streamer, could see a few flurries through the evening, more if over 200m
