    biggest disappointment of my weather memories, exactly same here just with tiniest of flakes, the main snow stayed out to the west, bbc weather were saying a few inches even low levels, then countryfile on sunday 12th at midday had it completely fizzled out

    mine is on an eastern facing fence (sheltered by house) 0ct-mid march, 2m from ground sun gets nowhere near it, i feel its accurate for mid 0ct to mid march mid mar to early 0ct, this place inaccurate due to sun radiation on western side of fence off high sun angle from 4pm, although not in direct sunlight, so has to go on wall under a bush around 2 inches from ground, 0nly sun free place in summer

    no we are due a mild zonal Xmas, 05 and 06 were cold quiet, 07 was not zonal, was sunny although not as cold, probably a pressure pattern similar to 1990, any snow will be above 300m in scotland

    Anyone watch britains worst weather?, last night was about thunderstorms, especially august 2004, one of the worst (best) months for the UK for thunderstorms last week 15th sep was about flooding, mentioning 0ct-nov 2000, and july 20-21st 07, on sky channel 138 9pm-10pm (139 10pm-11pm) hopefully about snow next week

    that weather from philip avery was class, express is so cr@p at weather, sadly people i know that know nothing about weather believe express, no way will we have that winter aug 30th for me was dry and sunnyish at 24oC not 10 days rain lol

    i remember dec 00, from boxing day until new years eve, i had loads of snow in the small hours of the 28th, 29th and 30th cold all day with thick rime 28th and then snow on new years eve before 2001 started with a mild thaw, i remember it raining at the turn of the year decent cold spell

    bbc weather bring back retro bbc forecasts, they were class in the 90's, now they dont even show any symbols or wind speeds, and they dont show atlantic pressure charts, they used to be great

    i wanna bring back the retro winters when i was a little boy, loads of snow, seemed to get snowy easterlies all the time, i wanna see more arctic north westerlies, used to give me loads of snow through cheshire gap, or of course the class position of 18th-20th nov 1996, (not mentioned a lot on here but one of my biggest snow memories) any snow for me now is gone so quickly

    damn this storm, murray v nadal now tomorrow night at 9.30pm, and mens final on monday night or tuesday morning, this worse than wimbledon, wimbledon finished on time

    id say weather gone completely to form, autumn arrived on my birthday 1st september, and got steadily cooler since, this not unusual, its proper autumn weather horrid if it was summer or winter, feels like the season we are in for a change oh and ppl i got a new weather thing for my birthday and humidity has been on HI, (over 95%) nearly all the time, dosent seem right, but temp accurate 15oC max today, pressure is 978

    last time i reached 30oC was 26th july 06, Aug 06 no 25oC plus days and july last year no 25oC plus days, today 26.1oC my 2nd warmest day of 2008

    may 08 highest maximum 26.6oC on the 11th lowest maximum 11.9oC on the 16th highest minimum 13.1oC on the 11th lowest minimum 3.0oC on tha 2nd my avg max 18.9oC avg mimumum 8.6oC best days in may 10th-14th the summer, made 25oC twice on 10th and 11th the wind on 26th was unbelievable, windiest day of the year here, tv aerial blew down my worst day of may the 4th rained most of the day same avg max as last july, hope for a better july this year

    yeah should be all about past british weather and everything about it, eg channels 211-250 dont exist maybe one of them

    not much mention of the winds unlike 9-13 march where winds were mentioned a lot on here, the wind seems stronger today than this although on that day i did have a fence down, definitely seems persistently strong today at least i missed the rain today

    obviously mild way above the average, frequent zonal stuff and no northern blocking, normal UK even larger teapot
