Keep safe everyone...seems it will get worse before it gets better...even after the rain stops there will still be water flowing from the hills and mountains into the rivers so I expect these to keep rising....has been a bizarre winter so far!
It's all changed in the mod thread this morning.....doom and gloom, toys out the pram, dummies on the floor...stay safe, protect the NHS.....stay out of the mod thread
I think surprises aplenty over the next few weeks...If you have studied the mod thread today then compared to yesterday most of the toys have been put back in the pram and they are playing nicely again so I always take that as a sign that things are heading the right way again
Best to take it all with a pinch of salt/grit at the moment...effects of the ssw could go either way..it may plunge us into narnia or it may lead to milder conditions ???
Really confused by the mod thread....one quote saying we need to make of the next 2 weeks as that will be it....is it just a case of the effects ssw on the models at the moment?
Took a little drive to the top of Manmoel Common this morning for some sledging fun with the kids...snowing lovely up there about an hour ago

I'm not in Bargoed today..I'm in Highfields in Blackwood so slightly more elevation...some big flakes mixed in every so often but more rain than snow. Timed it quite well today as as soon as I finished my run it started sleeting
Sleeting here...sort of...I'm looking a it glass half full, it still December, chance of a colder set up establishing its self and a few months of winter to go yet
