    A tad blowy out there tonight. Saw warning messages on the M5 earlier this afternoon, warning of tonight's winds.

    Very windy tonight. Expect to see plenty of branches on the roads in the morning.

    We've run out of bottled gas and they can't deliver until next Wednesday. But at least we've got the log burner. And we're away for 4 nights anyway so at least the hotel will be warm up in the Peak District...I hope.

    Unless you live in the countryside, then winter tyres are too expensive. It would be a waste of time in the UK anyway as you might have the best tyres in the world but you will still be stuck in traffic behind people who can't move.

    Unexpected streamer coming across my area at the moment but it's sinking south. But at least the kids were exited as I dropped them off to school.

    Now I want to drive down the M5 just to find some snow...lol! Supposed to snow a bit more tonight. Pity it's warming up by the end of the week.

    Weird winter. Hardly any frosts. And Moscow are complaining of too much snow. Could not make it up!

    So warm today compared to the last two weeks that I decided to dig up the vegetable beds in preparation for spring

    Yay! Got some big flakes of snow coming down and trying to pitch!

    Mad weather. Lovely snow last night then the temp went up again and it was drizzling this morning at 7am. Now it's trying to snow but only bits of 'dandruff' and the temperature has gone down by 0.5c. Wonder if they will get Friday wrong and we get loads of snow just before it melts?

    Been snowing for 3hrs but only 1cm. Seems to be wet snow and the temperature is still too high at 1c. Think it will be rain by the morning. Kids will be going to school.
