    The kids were not happy about having to go into school. They may be sent home later.Been snowing since 6.30am.

    Even if it all melts by Saturday. At least we get to enjoy some snow falling over the next few days. I just hope it doesn't end in an ice storm. That is very nasty stuff!

    Regarding the anti freeze. If your car is a modern one 2010 onwards, then you don't need to add much as it's a sealed system and if serviced correctly it's not needed. Windscreen additive is the most important thing! Nothing worse than having a salted up windscreen and no way to clean it.

    Ian F on the BBC weather just now said 'Don't trust weather apps!' Looks like even he's getting exited!

    The BBC news at 10pm weather had Mr Shafernaker(sp) and you could see him getting exited about next week. Calling the East flow being like 'flowing honey'. He'll be onto baked Alaskas by early next week!

    Thought I was delirious earlier. Saw snowflakes falling outside. But it was only a hawk plucking a pigeon on my roof. And now it's left it! Wonder if the crows will pinch it?
