Met office have updated the warning to a general trend to rain for low level tonight.

I would imagine if the low tonight is going to be snow we could see reference to it in the review. Was replying to the person who said no warnings for the low tonight.

Warnings usually get updated around 10.30 and 11.00 don't they?

It's really bad in st Helens it's dark and snow is constant. I hope this lasts until tonight and that low is snow then we could be on the road to all types of special.

Raining here now so that's how knife edge that was. I agree this isn't cold spell in the sense we think in winter. It's something you think you might see in spring.

We got a dusting of snow this morning, more than expected. Promising for later.

Forget the snow warning we need wind warnings and that wind this morning was dreadful.

It's been downgrading for our area as the days been going nearly all the sleet has vanished of the forecast. Rain all the way in my view.

Been a dire winter here for year's, I don't expect much from this spell either. its disappointing, but we have Feb that might give us a lucky day.

Weather forecasts seem to be going backward these days. That northwest BBC forecast in my view was so vague. The only info given was its going to be Cold and wet and a snow warning that was sketched over.

I wouldn't worry st helens won't see any snow. My plan is to have a trip to Manchester with my sledge.

USA are having an amazing snowstorm if your a snow lover. Hope they keep safe and some of that snow is shared with us.

I am making a forecast prediction that the majority of our region will see windy, sunny and cold conditions

Same wait to Wednesday before even thinking of snow. The chances of this being great in our snow shielded area is very low. Think rational.
