  1. It depends where you are! I don't like the word downgrade really as the 'grade' it will be is the grade it was always going to be - it's our forecasts, guesses and perceptions that change with the information we have to hand at the time. Where I am (Eastbourne) it certainly is still looks very potent with a risk of damage to structures and I guess that brings power outages etc. Add to that a lot of potential rain, I think the lead up to this by all agencies and models has been pretty fair. It may be that you guys out on the extremes of this region (further North for one) have been in an out of a zone that it could affect, but many in the South of the region have been and still look to be at the heart of a memorable weather event. They are still talking about yesterdays amber which had:

    dry til just after lunch then some showers poss a little heavy for a time

    clearing by teatime

    temps somewhere around 18 degrees

    starts dry but heavy showers en-route overnight

    temps 12-14 degrees

    quite a strong westerly wind

    showers should clear before lunchtime

    a slim chance the north of the region may be plagued by this for a bulk of the day (slim chance )

    temps around 18-20 degrees

    just being a tad tampered by the wind but nice in the sun

    dry

    temps around 10-12

    a very weak southerly flow

    starts dry but showers will hit our region

    at present it looks to be after dark (good)

    a messy day with a low to our south and south west

    variable windflow

    a trough is sat right over us so there will be showers

    there is a chance some of he showers could turn heavy and thundery

    heat will be the key with these

    temps around 18-20 and a tad higher should you keep the sun

    a strong north east wind

    similar day to monday

    showers around and some heavy

    thundery is poss but again heat during the day will be the key

    Same as yesterday

    Thurs storm risk gone now

    Still chill in air due to north sea however still warm in sun 20-22

    Saturday a tad more breezy

    Watch sunday now as chance we could see something stormy from our south

    Temps sat may touch 25 where the skys clear

    Still no internet yet
