We had some heavy snow earlier but it did not settle, not much appending now, I am just off purley way Stafford road

Still snowing here in Haywards Heath, blowing around in the wind and all looking very impressive. Must be a good few inches level snow outside with some drifting but I haven't ventured out yet.
My sisters kids school is closed, she can't believe we don't have any!

Those showers do seem to be filling in a bit now, and making it past London without dying off, so maybe we will get some decent snow overnight.

Things just didnt work out
The prediction was reliant on a thames streamer, we had the right ingredients, an ENE wind, the right uppers, we just didnt have the convection, i would say we were quite unlucky.

hello all! just got back from holiday in lanzarote.. only had 2 days sun i na week lol but 19 degrees is better than how cold it is here. has the London thread moved? whats the outlook for this week x

Just drove back from lyme Regis what a strange scene all the way back areas with snow, then some with none, driving on the A303 I drove through, snow , rain, sleet heavy rain and winds!
The best part was driving through heavy snow blizzard conditions as I approached stone henge for about 20mins
Although it was struggling to settle it looked very nice
Anyway had a great weekend and safely back in Croydon now
