    I'm liking the continuation of ridging up the Atlantic -southern tip of Greenland and now looking colder air is flooding South/west of Europe! Maybe a Icelandic/ScandI ridge developing later on into the 3rd week with lows running to our South? Again it's FI but it's there for us to watch out for treands GFS&GFSp.... GFSp has the colder uppers further west too. Happy model watching people!!

    Thank you and it's also something I have been watching for a while now and I believe the Zonal train will slow down by the 3rd week of January !Keep watching those modles people and take care.

    Good morning and a Happy new year to one and all... We start this year with a zonal flow but one thing I have been keeping my eye on is change around the middle of the month. GFS and GFSp are showing this and the GFSP was on this yesterday and holds it this morning.... FI I know but it's trends wears looking for this far out. Have a lovely day, GFS & GFSp .....

    what a beautiful last three days I have had working out in the cold air and seeing some winter sunshine also! Massive comedown to feel those westerly winds blow in this afternoon but still a lovely winters evening out there now....... So fresh! Anyway always next time and maybe not long to wait

    One thing deep in to FI we see the lows dive deep into Southern Europe and hights building to the n/e..... Maybe a trend but all good we are not seeing a euro high,

    Very uninspiring day today... Grey with drizzle . Anyway good model viewing coming up just about anything could happen now, who knows as this storm digs down in to the euro we could get hights up to the NE. All to play for! Have a good Sunday evening everyone

    Well.... The GFS is saying NO to the Atlantic. I know it's only one run but let's hope this is a new year trend.

    need something else into the Xmas holiday period. Xmas day, Boxing Day.... Then maybe a few snow days just before New Years eve! Not to much to ask for. Just please no more mild weather .

    Well the GFS p is sticking to its guns and is holding on to the idea of a Greenland block! This will be taking over from the GFS in the new year right? Do we trust it!? Well it's a trend its holding on to so I'm keeping my eye on this one along with the ECM . Maybe something good for us down here in the far southwest!

    I'm with you on that . Later next week is looking good but still to far out in FI for my liking. We live in hope. I do feel a trend developing here and one to keep me glued to them models .
