  1. Still a possibility of some shower activity over the moor between 12 and 3 in the morn.
  2. We do have wintery showers down in west Cornwall but of soft hail. but just 10mile to the east off truro its wet snow. heavy hail shower now in a gusty wind.

  4. So the fun begins tonight then, temps are tumbling here in Cornwall and once this front has past then the lamppost and radar becomes our best friend for the night. best of luck and enjoy. I plan to take a trip up to Dartmoor in the morning for a run .

  6. Back end of that shower did turn back to cold rain but feeling much colder than first thing this morning. if you get a shower today I should be of snow. Best of luck to you
  7. Mix of sleet and hail here on the south coast, 3 miles east of Falmouth
  8. Just want to see more of that PV shift to our east to allow some ridging sucking the high to our south up towards Greenland and to meet up with that polar high. its a little bit of positivity .
  9. The only plus from the 18z is that the energy is slowly moving away from our west. baby steps but steps in the right direction .
  10. We are only in the middle of Jan, i remember some cracking winters from the 80s down here in Cornwall ..... February 1986 was stunning , the cold and snow hung around for the best part of three weeks. keep the faith people . next we will be kissing the summer gone before its all ready started.
  11. yep, such a shame to have the rain pushing in with them awful mild winds but then on the flip side it's also the beginning of moving on to our next cold shot . Hopefully something more sustained .
  12. Well it's a step in the right direction my friend and we all know a good trend is our friend.
  13. Again it's end frames but it does pair up with the ideas of others around this time frame for hights up to our NE..... Again one to watch and to keep us all more positive .

  15. The JMA is well on board with this cracking set up. The GFS and ECM is also toying with something coming in to the NE at months end. one cold snap over and the building blocks being layed for something special maybe.
  16. Some heavy soft Hail showers this morning in the Truro area with the roads sparkling white.... made for an interesting ride to work!

  19. Just had a heavy hail shower pass over Truro turning the road white for a short while . enjoy the next week of weather, many suprises are just around the corner!
