  1. Maybe just maybe but ECM now out to Xmas day and could we be seeing a good Northerly flow and maybe a rise in pressure to the southern tip of Greenland ! Come on..... It's christmas.
  2. GFS is showing us a good cold blast for Christmas day. Let's hope ita on to something with maybe the start of some northern blocking. Have a good day.
  3. So nice to see the radar picking up some nice colours over Wales and North of the country, so different from this time last year. Fingers crossed for all those waiting for snow fall for this winter . Going to be an interesting winter just hope it gets shared nationwide! Enjoy it if you see it people.
  4. Still positives from the GFS today shows the PV energy shifting west-East and this trend has been continuing . Its when not if we start to see hights rise up into greenland
  5. Well GFS&GFSp are showing some movement North of the high in the Atlantic thus bringing us all a good northerly wind and possibly a bit of the White stuff. Still learning my thing here so don't be to hard on me! But I have noticed a trend developing here. Sorry I can't post a chart as I'm on the phone.
  6. Kicking off here now also . Game on .. Going to be an interesting hour here in Cornwall. Not much rain but the rumbles are getting louder
  7. Need a good storm down here in Truro. Not seen a drop yet and would be good if only to clear the air a bit. Radar is looking good tho, fingers crossed .
  8. Morning all. I can safely say it's not getting any milder here yet. We have steady rain in a strong SS/E wind! No fishing for me today . Stay warm people.
  9. Finished work at 1:30 today and already glad I'm indoors with a cup of tea . Even here in Truro the winds are picking up and I'm in a sheltered part of the town. On my way home I seen all our rivers bursting there banks and flooding fields around them and all these rivers running into tidel areas. Going to be a big tide people and with that wind pushing the tide up against the floodwaters it's going to add to the problems from this mornings rain. Stay safe people keep your updates coming .
  10. Couple claps of thunder down here now. I still hope that storm on Saturday is our last big storm of winter and maybe some change is coming . Just one week of proper winter weather will do please.
  11. Gfs will, well has to downgrade over the next three days and hope we see some agreement across ECM and UKMO for some kind of pressure rise from the south west. Gfs has been picking up on this after this low on the 14/15th passes. Take care . Anyways still learning here and night all.
  12. Could this be our last stand ? Then what looks to be some sort of change in our type of weather. One to watch.
  13. . Yeah been a hard week for me also having to work in it.It's one low every couple of days here and so much damage! ......cycling to work has been awful :-(I love my snow and cold days but right now all I want is some settled weather.Sleep well and take care .
  14. Well here in Truro we have heavy rain and the gusts are getting stronger all the time! Here we go people and stay safe.
  15. Ukmo is going down the same road..... Or should I say river! Saturday,Tuesday and Friday. Tuesday
  16. Deep into FI but things still looking dire for us in the SW So the gfs loses the pressure rise for the south.
  17. We still have February don't we!. If that high can shift north (Scandi /Iceland )after 144 then I think it's game on. It's still all to play for. Keep your faith people and take care. Amen.
  18. Gfs at 144 is the same as ECM and ukmo. I'm always holding on to hope.
  19. Looking at ECM at 144 does seem to be similar to ukmo at 144...... ECM 144 Maybe a small building block? Never say never
