  1. Paul I'm not a fan, all of us on this thread are civil and measured. I see no use for this, perhaps on the mod thread. Not here. Revert back to what we had, would be ideal We are all a community in some sense so we should have the freedome to see who likes what ever post.
  2. Morning, Proper blue skies today with warm bright sunshine 12.6C going to be a warm day, is this really March? I hear out in FI there is potential for much colder weather. I reckon winter is not done with us yet, there must be some sort of balance.. March is usually on the transition from Winter to Spring some heavy frosts would do. What ever the weather, have a nice day
  3. Evening forum friends A splendid day, rather strange not seeing the rain pattering against the window. The wildlife has really sprung into life I've seen many bees and all the daffodils are in flower a sure message that spring has arrived. Spring is one of my favourite seasons, during the Summer it can be like a sweat box in London. Why some like relentless heat, beats me. Tam hope your ok - thinking of you. And all those who are going through tough times
  4. Morning all Not much to be done today, apart from the usual chores, oh and the south london derby. We could really do with some 3 points, going to be a tough game full of passion and prowess. it has got a little cloudier as the day has progressed, although at least its mild. Fine day, make the most out of it
  5. Sensational photos, really top class keep them coming Sorry to hear about your cats, this must be a very distressing time for you. However the fond memories will never leave you, if that is a scrape of comfort - i lost my goldfish when I was 4/5 and that hit me hard, wishing you well at this hard time. The weather, same old. Have a nice weekend.
  6. Good afternoon all, During the morning I took a few photos at Russia Dock Woodland, of the Fog and then returned in the afternoon in the bright warm sunshine. apologies for it being upside down, unable to go on my PC at this time. I'm a terrible photographer, but i do enjoy it edit: Grrr not viewable on forum - any suggestion? Cheers Paul.
  7. Hey there I'm from the docklands! which is in SE London. Very near to Canary Wharf about 2m by train, I know it well I have a view of it, courtesy of my bedroom window - I'm sure it has snowed up there many times, and all we've got is splashes of icy rain :pIt sure looks majestic when the sun shimmers on the glass, and when the fog encases around it. Really beautiful sight
  8. Afraid so all our region is covered in a yellow warning for Fog. Friday:Fairly widespread, locally dense fog to start the day. The fog will gradually clear through the morning to leave another fine and dry afternoon with good spells of warm sunshine. Maximum Temperature 16 °C.Cheers lassie
  9. Good Afternoon All There was some very dense fog in the morning, and there was a chill in the air. Now blue skies - glorious sunshine with the temp registering at 14.5C! Edit: 10th post I need a lie down.
  10. I like heat, but sleeping is unbearable especially when humid. I can cope 30C but when it got near to 35C like last year, it was like a furnace - and thats for a Londoner as we have no sea breeze, and the air is very stagnant going outside is not always ideal. Today I saw a couple of bees, utter contrast to the bitter cold of March 2013. Even in April we got snow showers however none did settle, this winter we have had the liquid form unfortunately.
  11. Hey all - sure was a nice day, felt quite warm in the sunshine. It was quite chilly in the morning, but as soon as the sun made a appearance it warmed up quickly. Temp a respectable 12.4C, unusual for march but welcomed nonetheless.
  12. Good evening, Congratulations to Mr Chilly Been another tiresome day Zzz its a cool 8.0C with thick grey cloud. Darkness is slowly descending.
  13. Going for June 2nd. 30C is a common occurrence here in London. Wonder when we will ever breach 40C ?
  14. Pretty ironic after all this dismal winter, that we have a possibility of the first proper cold plunge, in Spring. We have have been let down several times, lets hope we have have something to salvage. Even a wintery shower, will do! In here some grand posts take place, although on occasion it can get bitter in here. This really sways many away from posting like myself as I was scared of the reaction after it has cooled down, I have taken the courage to post here. We should draw a line, and move on as friendly, respectable people, it don't take much? Emotions run high but we must not get ahead of our selfs - I know this is of topic but thought it was necessary
  15. Good afternoon, hope you're all well on this drab monday. I was astonished by how welcoming you all are, like a big family i know it sounds cliche. I have gained much confidence; and I will continue posting although not too frequent. This forum is blighted by some individuals - which sometimes draws away alot of the good quality posts, which is produced on a daily basis. I would also like to take the opportunity to say thanks, to the great contributions, in and out this thread. Weather report: Predominantly cloudy with a Temp of 9.9C
  16. Thanks all for the warm welcome, your a lovely buntch Shame that some don't comply - it is the internet after all. Full of characters. Upto 18.1c and feeling rather pleasant - Lets hope winter 2014/2015 is somewhat drier
  17. Hey all I've been watching over you for around a year, I feel that its time to the break ice, this is surprisingly daunting - I'm 17 and have a keen interest in all weather related things. Temp 17.4C clear and sunny outside!
