Nothing to say but the Gem is a Gem for all. Powder snow knee deep for some.

UKMO is pants compared to earlier run. The rest of the models all an improvement cant see much from this in western parts tho.

Starting to get interesting now gem going for it and quite a few off the gfs ens very cold Easterly.

If the Easterly fails then we will have to make do with polar maritime flow which has delivered all winter.

Only one way for snow to arrive Friday is that wedge of heights over Iceland to grow bigger each run and the low crossing the country pushed further South and going by what we have seen this winter that is a big possibility.

Metoffice update going with it's on model very cold later next week & snow.

White out conditions now massive flakes everything turning white.

Flakes in the rain here now temp 2.9c dew 1.5 turning more to snow as i type confused.com Has to be super low humidity in play here.

Snowed here also late morning but put it this way just before band pushed in last night we got down to -3c & dp -4 i was looking out the window when band of rain was falling really heavy at that and temp was 0.1c you couldn't make it up.

Reports of snow in number of places in the south last night colder for snow and we got rain you really have to scratch your head sometimes let's see what we get up north.

Lets be frank about it not one person foreseen what is happening with models as we head into first half of Jan quite a few experts wrote it off altogether and that ain't there fault as mother nature makes a fool of us all from time to time, but one thing that has been the trend setter this winter that is the jet running south and when that happens there is always a chance of white stuff. -
Same here heavy rain last night now heavy snow when it is meant to get milder.

Loving this setup if you can't get HLB then give me this setup everytime jet on a NW-SE exis countrywide event shown on last gfs but will likely change tho.

I'm sitting at -3.0°C with a dew point of -4.0°C certainly cold enough now but will it be when front pushed in ice could be the main issue out of this but i would love a few inches of snow.

Bitterly cold today ice remained on paths all day with a few snow showers throughout the day currently getting which looks to be the last of the snow showers for tonight slight dusting, eyes down for potential snow Friday morning you never know. This winter has been much better than the previous few and we are only through official the 1st week of winter.
