Right then peeps. Are we going to say "THURSDAY" is the day we can tell family and friends to stock up? ?? Excited and nervous about this now. Didn't sleep much last night thinking about it and it doesn't look like I'm going to sleep much tonight either ? P.s quad bikes are expensive ? ? ?

Would I be stupid to buy a quad bike this week before it comes? Or should I wait? The trouble I have is my Wife's Grandad has dementia and lives 10miles away and although he lives in his own house on his own someone always goes to see him every day. I'm worried if it does come as bad as the models are showing, there will be no chance of anyone getting to him. I'm also worried about leaving it too late and not being able to get the quad if I do buy one. Sorry for the long off topic post.

How long does the SSW last and is there a possibility it won't affect our weather at all?? I'm getting really frustrated with myself because I'm trying to learn but there's soooo much going on and soooo much to learn I don't know where to start!!! #cantteachanolddognewtricks ??????

Am I right in saying, this SSW could equally bring mild weather or cold weather dependent on where it falls?

Was it forecasted to rain tonight? I can't work out if it's a bit sleety or just fine rain mixed in with the rain. Apparently it's 4° here (not got a weather station yet........)

So the met off app says 18mph Westerly winds with 35mph gust for me right now!! Barely got a breeze and the sun is really warm. What's going on with that low pressure? Has it been downgraded to nothing now?

Blitzortung lighting detector is pretty good too. Got it set up to alert me at a 50mile radius at the moment. Summer months 25?? although it's no good when storms just pop up like they are atm
