It’s bound to rain in Plymouth. If we barely get anything in Dec 2010 and March 2018 this isn’t going to deliver Jack.

It’s been the best Summer for me since 1995.
However this morning was the first time the sun came up post 6am which I really noticed on a lie in for me. Autumn is a coming!!!

My spare bedroom/ office is at 29c at the mo. Bearable just. It ramped over 32 yesterday and I gave up working. Far too hot for me.

Kind of hope we don’t see anything like that this year. A cold spell, even just for a few days will be extremely dangerous for most people living on the breadline.
Exactly.
One thing being in a flat is I have a condenser tumble dryer which I use when it’s winter. That throws out a Lot of heat so rather than warm the spare bedroom- that can go into the lounge- and that will help. May not look good but that heat will help!

So long as it’s a northern blast I’ll cope. It’s when the wind is in the east as it was 2018 when this flat got bitterly cold as the lounge faces that way.
I’ll top up the electric meter from next pay day and ride it out.

September 1986 I don’t remember but August 86 was a dreadful month. It just wasn’t even warm down here and capped by Hurricane Charley on the bank holiday.

Those in the southwest: is it feeling considerably cooler behind that front yet?
It was, temperature dropped to 22c from 25c but it’s climbing again. Expecting 27 or 28c as a finish

Dreadful - and useless given I’ve got to go Bristol for football on Saturday afternoon…
