    I've seen flashes from a storm which was 50 miles away, not sure how far you are from Hull.

    Looking at the radar image I now understand, the one I was looking at didn't show that out to the West, thanks for that....sorry if I came across as a pain in the bum.

    What storm!?! When is this thing going to come over, will it be home grown or from France, will it be large??

    Hi, haven't read it yet but I will later, did notice a lump appear on a radar image around the same area from where that storm came that passed us an hour or so back, hopefully it'll follow it's path and build, if so it should skirt Newbury like the last one.

    I guess this is the downside to our enjoyment, hope they all got out poor owners. And I was moaning we didn't get much...feel bad now.

    So is that it guys/girls? Is that the thunder storms everyone including the BBC were getting so exited over, if it was it's a very bad show unless there's more to come?? So what's next??

    I use to do a lot of storm chasing in the 90s and the storms always went the same route, West of Newbury over Hungerford and across towards Wantage, this one has done the same, I've always put it down to the landscape and hills around there, anyone else notice the same pattern?

    Still distant rumbles heard around Newbury area...and the odd flash, but then the two do come together...drrr!

    Am I right in saying this is heading for Berkshire, the radar image shows it heading my way but then I hear people saying it's heading towards Wales...confused, HELP???
