    If you look at the rainfall bit on the met office app you can see the ppn sitting over us for quite a while this eve (Sorry if this post comes up a few times, my tablet is being neurotic!)

    Just seen this on Twitter. Looks like a (little) bit of fun for tomorrow even if it does get washed away by the rain following it..... Anyone know how likely this is to happen? Had a few snow grains here today which cheered me up after a rubbish day at work

    Lol! It's stopped now. I reckon I've got 0.01 cm on my car and that's slush left from last night!

    I'm not far from Rochester airport.... It's crazy that in such a small distance it can make such a difference

    It's snowing steadily here but not settling yet... Reports from Maidstone saying its settling there so hopefully it will start to settle here too soon

    Morning all, my met office app is all over the place atm..... its showing light snow at 6, then sleet, then light again at midnight then heavy snow at 3 am..... I'm inclined not to look at it again and it might not change!!! Hopefully staring long enough at the rain may make it freeze.... Superpowers and all that

    My met office app is replacing my snow symbols for tomorrow with sleet ones ...... Anyone know how I stop it doing that? I'm sure it's broken!!

    Morning all, Well I see what you mean about the roller coaster now.... All change??! I woke up to two light snow symbols on my Met office app for tomorrow, that has started my day off perfectly!! Fingers crossed the maps don't change too much today. Have a great day everyone and fingers crossed for tomorrow

    I'm on a tablet so can't use the upload photos tab. Just saw these 2 forecast pictures on the British weather services website and the weather web/weather school site. (Hope its ok to post these) I Thought they may cheer people up a bit and restore (a little) hope for the weekend!! Ignore the first one...( deleted). Just read it in detail!!     Ok, where's the camera???! I feel like im coming out now but........Yes to all but the last one, however I'm sure if this weekend comes off, that will be checked off too! so glad to see I'm not the only one who does those things, my family think I'm very odd, especially after I told my hubby I wanted a new weather app for my mobile on valentines day Thanks for the warm welcome!

    Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself as a newbie! been reading this and the model thread for a few weeks now and you guys in here seem a lot less scary to say hi to!! I can't read the charts for toffee (im in the lampost watching club) but im trying to make sense of them and I really appreciate the posts which explain things in detail. I'm in north Kent so I've got my fingers crossed with you guys for an exciting weekend!!
