Radar hinting at some sleety stuff on some of the hills now down south. Poor people affected by flooding. Roads are going to be a nightmare when that high pressure creates those frosty nights

Could be potentially record beaking low temps with something like that, and snow cover.

Definite potential for something wntry with these lps skirting the south next week. My hopes are raised having just witnessed a heavy shower produce a sleety/wet snow mix, temp dipped from 7c to 1c

Temp 7c fell to 1c in minutes during heavy shower just now, turned to sleet then wet snow!
