    Really funny now seeing everyone posting GFS charts now they are showing cold and ignoring the milder ECM, also we were being told the GFS ens were rubbish when Gavin was posting them, now everyone believes in them again lol.

    Does anyone from Carlisle post on here? I am supposed to be going to the races up there next Saturday and wondering how bad the snow has been and the likelyhood of it being on if it stays dry.

    Definitely expecting the models to flip back to cold sooner rather than later, it is just how this year has gone so far, if ECM is still showing mild on Tuesday then I will start to believe.

    LP stuck over us, really need that Scandi high to do one.

    ECM showing milder now as well, though all models showed this about a week ago and flipped back, I will wait until Tuesday before am confident of mild.

    Personally I like the look of the way GFS is going towards milder but really need it to stay dry on Saturday, however still expect that the cold ECM is more likely as GFS has been absolutely useless lately.

    A few small flakes here and there but also thawing now.

    Looking at ECM 0z and GFS 6z I would prefer the ECM, possibility of some high pressure at the end of the run which hopefully would bring some sun though not warm, GFS 6z looks like more snow and another weekend ruined.

    Occasional light snow, very windy, couple of cm lying snow but roads are clear.

    A bit higher than me there though only 1/2 mile away, only a couple cm lying snow here.

    About 20c too cold.

    Much better 18z, keeps the cold up north where it belongs.
