  1. " also a weird area Stafford with weird adults/chavs and people with low IQ's " You have head case's where ever you live, But what that has to do with the weather i dont know !!!!

New conspiracy theory? HAARP nor Global Warming is to blame for the weather... it's the chavs. Posted Image Hehe.

Anyways, getting back on topic, it's starting to get a bit darker here now - and after reading a bit further up the thread that Coventry should see something within an hour, I should start getting me camera(s) ready. *fingers crossed*

  2. lol well this thread isn't exactly a hive of activity tonight, is it? I suspect a lot of people are catching up on some much needed sleep after the fun & games last night.

I fell asleep around 5-6pm yesterday (thank goodness I didn't miss anything here)

Apparently the models are starting to toy with the idea of another plume event this weekend.

Ooo I do hope there's something. Posted Image
  3. But as for itv weather - well, what a load of crap. It lasts all of 30 seconds, only covers that day and at best, the next

Don't forget too, there's that "mini-sponsor" ad just before, then -as you said- 30 seconds of weather, then back to the sponsor ad again. All-in-all I think that lasts longer than the actual report. Posted Image
  4. Just watched a forecast at 00.57 on bbc news 24 and it was pretty good! They showed all the weather systems moving around the globe and not just that but with added jet stream. You could clearly see how far south it was and how many low pressure systems were heading this way Shame they don't do that more often or put more effort in

The closest I've seen to what you've described is WeatherView, but that was on BBC One last night at 1.15am (so after the time you specified and not sure if they also show it on News 24) and they always show a lot more. I prefer watching WeatherView - seems to give me a better understanding of the weather than the local forecast seems to. :/
